Optimum Resource Management Ltd. (ORML) is an independent forestry and resource management company based in the Robson Valley of British Columbia’s Interior. As a locally operated firm, we provide practical, professional, and dependable forest management solutions tailored to the needs of our clients and the unique conditions of each project.
Randy McFarland brings more than 30 years of forestry experience working in the steep, mountainous, and environmentally sensitive terrain of British Columbia. Our extensive local and industry knowledge allows ORML to approach projects with a clear understanding of the land, operational requirements, environmental considerations, and challenges associated with working in remote and complex terrain.
Our experience includes forest development planning, timber reconnaissance, block and road layout, road design, riparian classification, ecological data collection, mapping, GIS services, terrain assessments, construction support, and ongoing road maintenance. By combining technical forestry knowledge with practical field experience, we help our clients move projects forward safely, efficiently, and responsibly.
